Claudene Neysmith

Actor / Singer / Voiceover Artist / Model

Calling all H.U. BISON! Claudene Neysmith has been repping the Howard University, Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts well since gaining her BFA from that Institution… ahem… not too long ago. She has continued her education through several schools like: Second City, Toronto, Hey I Saw Your Commercial Et al. to beef up those acting skills.

Claudene is acknowledged as an actor with a myriad of theatre, on-camera (commercial/film/TV/internet), singing, music video and voiceover credits to her name. She’s excited to make a long overdue foray back into the theatre realm with Swimming in Roses by Kathleen Reichelt, reading for the diverse roles of Great Aunt Rose, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Impersonator: Tina Turner and Mother: Diana Ross. She has lived and performed in New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, NJ, and here in Toronto at Koerner Hall, Pearson Airport amongst several other venues & locations.

During Covid time lockdown her most memorable performance was the Black National Anthem of Lift Every Voice and Sing for the Ontario Black History Society Emancipation Luncheon. Claudene’s most favorite and memorable performance was when the band she was in at the time got to perform at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
